ACM abrasive saws and cut off wheels are specifically engineered to provide optimum cutting performance in wet OR dry cutting applications. Completely portable, ACM Cut off Saws can be used just about anywhere there is an electrical outlet. Weighing only 19 pounds and requiring no installation, the machine can be moved around the shop hassle-free.

PRECISION

When using the ACM saw, you will find that it provides a fast, clean cut with every stroke. Because there are no metal saw teeth, the wheel never gets dull. Abrasive wheels sharpen themselves during the cutting process. Enhance high-volume production with the 44D-CJ cutting jig. Utilizing this custom component ensures that the material being cut will have the exact length needed when cutting with tight tolerances.

COST EFFICIENT

ACM saws and cutting wheels provide an almost burr free cut, especially when used during a wet cut application. You can virtually eliminate the need for costly secondary finishing operations! However, not all applications permit cutting wet. Our wheels have been specially formulated to provide as small a burr as possible when utilized in dry cutting. What little burr remains, in most cases, can be easily flaked away with a fingertip! This feature makes follow-up grinding a thing of the past!

COMPLETELY PORTABLE

Because they weighs less than twenty pounds, the ACM Cut-off Saws can be used just about anywhere there is an electrical outlet. Requiring no installation, the machine can be moved around the shop hassle-free. Rubber feet prevent the machine from “creeping” or vibrating during use.

CONSTRUCTION

Both the model ACM-4 and ACM-5 are completely portable and weigh only 19 pounds, and measure 14 X 7 5/8 inches X 9 inches. The saws are sturdily constructed of aluminum castings and designed for long maintenance free operation. The finish is hammerloid gray. The spindle is precision ground and the bearings are sealed for maximum cutting accuracy. Completely manufactured in the U.S.A. with quality components, it meets the most rigid engineering standards.

MOTOR

Permanently lubricated, and grounded, the ½ horsepower, universal motor is rated at 1.9 amps, full load. The motor operates on 115V AC or DC, 60 cycles and runs at 10,000 RPM. (Note: As stated above, the saw operates at 5,000 RPM; the motor is geared down from 10,000 to 5,000 RPM with a 2:1 gear ratio on the pulleys.) A six-foot power cord is supplied with the unit. Both the ACM-4 and the ACM-5 are available with a 230V motor for use overseas.
